St. Cloud, Minnesota

I recently spent a weekend away in St. Cloud, Minnesota. I attended the Midwest Travel Network Conference and was fortunate to see some sights. If you like nature, history, art, and good food, it’s a place you want to visit. So, if you get an opportunity, spend a weekend in St. Cloud.

A Bit About St. Cloud

St. Cloud has over 80 city parks. Did you know that the city sits on the banks of the Mississippi River? The Munsinger and Clemens Gardens are both a must-see.  If you are into history, visit The Stearns History Museum and Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame offer.

The historic Paramount Center for the Arts is located in the historic downtown district. The theatre is beautiful, and the ornate fixtures are breathtaking. You have many options if you want to shop, eat, and sip. You will get your shopping fix from unique shops to major retail stores. If you like sipping, St. Cloud has microbreweries and restaurants for you to enjoy. After eating, you can walk and hike off the calories at the Quarry State Park or the Beaver Island Trail.
